Project Coordinator

Plan and direct the activities of the Construction Inspection Staff and coordinate their activities with the Construction Management team. Effectively utilize staff resources and staff expertise to comply with the client procedures, project specifications, governmental regulatory codes, quality assurance, and safety / environmental policies. Administer proper timing and execution of staff control in the areas of quality control, documentation, reporting, contracts and material delivery. Provide construction consultation, assistance and information to the management staff and client.


Chief Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Act as a Client Representative to monitor compliance with all provisions of various governmental regulatory permits, including personal contact with designated officials. Supervise all phases of the Field Quality Control and Technical Staff assigned to the project to observe adherence to client company's construction contract drawings and specifications. Delegate responsibilities and define limits of authority to each subordinate Inspector. Make sure all members of the Quality Control Team know their respective duties.


Welding Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Oversee welder qualifications, welding work, welding facilities, welding conditions, weld records and radiographic examinations. Perform duties as designated by the Chief Inspector in accordance with the job requirements outlined in the assigned activity and monitor the compliance of Client Company's Quality Control Standards, project specifications, codes, safety and environmental policies. Keep a daily log of all incidents and prepare appropriate report(s) for the Inspector's assigned activity.


Craft Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Perform duties as designated by the Chief Inspector in accordance with the job requirements outlined in the assigned activity and monitors the compliance of Client Company's Quality Control Standards, project specifications, codes, safety and environmental policies. Keep a daily log of all incidents and prepares appropriate report(s) for the Inspector's assigned activity.


Environmental Inspector

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. The primary responsibility is monitoring the contractor's activities during construction to verify compliance with environmental permits, environmental specifications, and approved environmental mitigation measures (environmental control devices). The Environmental Inspector takes a proactive and preventive approach to inspection and monitoring to identify and correct issues of noncompliance and implementing appropriate measures to prevent further instances of environmental noncompliance.


Survey Coordinator

Duties and responsibilities require being knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline inspection. Provide logistics for the pipeline construction, supervises the activities of field survey crews and chief and ensures technical survey results comply with project plans and specifications. Interfaces with Right-of-way agent, client representative, and others at the project construction site.


Other roles provided by GIFS include:
Field Office Manager/Contracts Administration, Field Material Controller/Coordinators, and Cost Control and Scheduling staff.
