Health Benefit Plan

Gulf Interstate Field Services is pleased to offer its employees a comprehensive health benefit plan. The health benefit plan is a Group Supplemental Hospital Indemnity & Group Term Life / AD&D Insurance Plan that is fully insured by Pan-American Life and is administered by USNow.

Savings Plan

As an employee of Gulf Interstate Field Services, you are eligible to participate in the Gulf Interstate Engineering Company's Savings Plan.

Effective January 1, 2008, the Company will match 100% of the first 6% of your base salary that is contributed to your 401k. This increase in Company match makes Gulf's contribution one of the highest in the industry, providing employees with greater opportunity to plan and manage their long-term retirement goals. Contributions are 100% vested at all times.

The Plan is a valuable benefit program. It can help you put money aside for a financially secure retirement. Through the Plan, you can save for retirement now so that you can have the income you'll need after you stop working.

Participating in the Savings Plan is easy. You contribute a portion of your pay to your Plan account each payday through convenient payroll deduction. Gulf Interstate Engineering Company also makes contributions to your account. Contributions are then invested in the Plan's investment options you've selected.

There are tax benefits as well. Your qualifying contributions, employer contributions and all earnings on your account are not subject to current federal income tax (or, where applicable, state or local taxes) until you take them out of the Plan. This tax deferral gives your retirement savings the opportunity to grow faster than if your savings were currently being taxed.
